UP, CLOSE & PERSONAL
There is many construction projects – big and small ones. But there only seldomly comes one along that splits the nation as much as „Stuttgart 21“. Our team was very happy to get up, close and personal with the constructions that go on in the tunnels beneath the city. Using 360° 3D video anybody can now experience the construction site as if they were there in person: Uncensored and unfiltered.
WORK REQUIRED
It was our customer’s goal to create an un-biased information channel for people interested in the project. Creating the 360° 3D films was quite taxing, especially for our camera that had to withstand anything from heavy vibrations to close-proximity detonations.
OUR STRATEGY
By using home-made camera rigs a number of impossible shots were filmed. The camera hung on a crane or was right in front of an exploding rock face. Guests of the “Main Station Tower Museum” are able to personally experience the constructions with our VR experiences until 2020: We will keep updating them regularly.
