ON THE ROAD
The Volkswagen Roadshow is an event that shows off the company’s newest cars and gives visitors the possibility to participate in competitions and games.
WORK REQUIRED
Our customer wanted us to document the event and show all of its parts in great detail. Because the event took place over a time span of several weeks in several different cities, time was at an essence – after the last event was filmed, only three days were available for animation and post-production.
OUR STRATEGY
During the filming the first rough cuts were already made on-location. At the same time, the CGI artists at the MXO office started to animate the “cube” constructions and a Volkswagen Golf 6. When the whole team returned, everything was put back together and immediately sent out to our customer.
